3lb Red Jonagold apples (not organic) from Great Lakes Farm
Also knows as "red prince". Jonagold is a bi-coloured apple with a crimson red blush over a yellow-green background and visible lenticels. The shape is round to conical, similar to Golden Delicious, and the fruit size is medium to large. The skin is moderately thick and its presence is felt slightly on chewing. The flesh is white with a hint of green and is quite juicy. The texture is crisp, slightly soft and with a very slight hint of woodiness or blockiness. Sweetness levels are good with a good acid balance and flavour from the Jonathan parentage.

Is the produce Organic and Local?
All produce grown on our farm is certified organic as is most of the produce that comes from other farms. In all cases we mark the origin and organic status of everything you choose for your share so you make an informed decision.
What comes in my subscription box?
You choose! The availability of veggies and fruit will vary seasonably, but each week you will have the opportunity to completely customize your share.
How will I be charged?
