Our Story:

Most modern foods are made to last forever. They’re heat-treated, stabilized, and stripped of anything that moves or changes over time. Fermentation is the opposite. It asks us to slow down, pay attention, and trust the unseen.

Fermentation is our love language. It’s a way of honouring the invisible forces that sustain us—the wild yeasts in the air, the bacteria in the soil, the rhythms of the seasons. Temperature, time, and microbes all work together to create something that is living, safe, and delicious.

At From the Land, we follow the ancient art and wisdom of fermentation, letting time and nature do their work. We don’t rush the process. We work with the living cultures, watching, tasting, adjusting, and allowing each batch to unfold.

What begins as ingredients from the land becomes something entirely new: bubbling, nourishing, full of flavour, and alive with the quiet work of microbes. Every bottle carries a little of that process—the seasons, the ingredients, the time, and the love that went into making it.
